Item description

SRS Airbag Module Reset

Crash Data & Hard Codes Cleared

An airbag module reset is a 24 hour service to reset your SRS airbag module after accident. An SRS airbag module can also be referred to as an RCM (Restraint Control Module), SDM (Sensing Diagnostic Module), ACM (Airbag Control Module) or other names. If your airbag light is on, chances are you have codes stored in your computer module. Some codes can be easily reset or erased using an OBD airbag scanner (scan tool) and are referred to as “soft codes”. Soft codes are not related to a crash or accident and are not something we work with. However, crash data and hard codes are codes generated following a crash where airbags may have deployed and seatbelts locked up. These codes cannot be erased or reset using an OBD scan tool and even a dealer cannot reset it! A dealer would suggest buying a new SRS unit that costs hundreds of dollars and then charge you to install and program it. We offer an airbag crash data removal service. Our expert programmers are able to reprogram your SRS airbag module to factory condition, erasing all crash data and hard codes. This process requires you to mail in your module to us and we disassemble the computer and connect to the eeprom, MCU or other chips to program it. We have all of the necessary tools to work on all airbag modules from all makes & models. This does not mean that every SRS airbag module can be erased. If for any reason we cannot properly reset a module, we will issue a full refund.

This service is compatible with all popular makes such as Ford, Chevy, Honda, Toyota, Acura, Subaru, Hyundai, KIA, Nissan, Infiniti, Mazda, Lexus, Pontiac, Jeep & more!

You may need to get your airbag module reset if:

  • Your airbags deployed
  • Crash data stored (via OBD scanner or diagnostic tool)
  • Crash memory full
  • Codes not erasable by OBD scan tool
  • OBD airbag scanner cannot reset the airbag light
  • Dealer says you need a new module

To get your airbag module reset, please purchase the service online and mail it in to:
